So, we went to see The Fountain today.

Has anyone else seen it and, if so, can anyone explain it to me?
There are some truly beautiful moments and I understand that it's an "art" piece that doesn't necessarily go from point A to point B, but throw me a fricken bone! The fact that I couldn't connect some of the major plot dots hampered my emotional experience. Although I still cried. A lot. Par for the course. I knew I was watching a tragic love story, so score one for Melissa.
But if anyone can 'splain it to me in clearer terms, I'd love to hear it.
