THE CONS AND THE PROS III
Dear Live journal,
it has been quite some time since we last had words.
In a nutshell:
THE CONS:
- being broke.
THE PROS:
- THEE missing duffel bag with my CD's has now RETURNED! The A and I picked up THEE bag at the Ottawa bus depot last eve (a little after midnight to be precise). The CD's are now in our apartment.From Calgary to Toronto to Ottawa and straight into the heart of this here happy clam. My regards and appreciation to DJ Longshanks and Alison Sharpe as they were the cats who tipped me off on a lead that thus brought the much pined for bag back into the light of existence
- My girlfriend- Alanna- isn't only the hottest gal in Ottawa with her new Mia Farrow circa 1968 haircut but she is also the smartest. She continues to astound me with her wit and acute observations.
- Jarvis is not just a cat/kitten. He is SUPER KITTY! He is mastering the art of hording toy rats in dark, forbidden places.He also attempts to have conversation with us. Alanna is reading a book called FELINEINSTEIN. It teaches the way of nurturing a genius cat. I like this idea as maybe Jarvis will be able to learn English, become a huge celebrity and thus Jarvis could possibly aid us in paying our school tuitions over the course of time.
- I have a job at a local grocery store. Said store is owned by a Mr. and Mrs. Hartman and thus it is aptly called Hartman's. My job title- i.e. a cashier- is robotic in routine and thus I daydream during my shifts
- School starts in a little over 2 weeks and I am super stoked!
- The Andy Warhol Diaries. Andy Warhol is a very funny man.
- Nikki and Dani's postcard!!!! It arrived on a morning where I woke up whining that nobody remembers me and blah-blah-blah - lay me down to Morrissey- and what happens to be in the mail slot- a postcard from Nikki and Dani!!!! ( a written response from myself will be added to an Alanna letter being sent soon to the likes of you cool cats)
