I figure since this dream has to do with traveling, it fits with my travel log.
Ok, so I had this dream last night. I was in an airplane with some people from high school. I was somewhat indifferent to their presence, even though it's been about a decade since I saw them last and they weren't exactly my friends to start with. I can't remember exactly where we were going but the plane took off and it was flying low for the longest time. So low, I and other passengers remarked that if we could open a window, we could reach out and touch the trees below. And we were actually flying over my house in Rivers but I only remember seeing the shed in the backyard. Then, the plane flips over and is flying upside down, something I thought was curious since I didn't know commercial plane could do that (I'm guessing they can't in real life). We were hanging from our seats by our belts and some people had even fallen out of their seats and were on the ceiling of the plane. Everyone was quite scared but my thoughts were simply, "When is this pilot going to put is upright?" It seemed like he was having trouble getting it done. And that's when I woke up.
Analysis: I was on a plane last week. I've been thinking about applying to work for Westjet. I've also been noticing some people from high school on Facebook and what they've been up to. My life has been unsteady and somewhat turned upside down. I'm a little nervous about it and realize that it isn't how I thought it would be but I'm waiting for someone else or some greater power to turn it right. I'm not exactly scared because I have confidence in this greater power but I'm still waiting intently for this proverbial "pilot" to right things. The thing about the dream is that I'm helpless but that's now how it really is in my life. I'm sending out resumes and searching for jobs that might work for me but to little avail.
I had another dream that there was this shopping mall at the top of these really narrow, steep steps. I was really scared to climb these steps and then Erin came and we got to the top where there was a large sidewalk and a parking lot. But Erin was parked on the sidewalk and got an $85 ticket.
Analysis: I've been watching A&E Parking Wars. That's about all I've got.
