So, I'm in Eilat which is a small city on the border between Israel, Egypt and Jordan. The plan is to head to Egypt tomorrow (no, not the part with the pyramids... we'll save that for when I have actual money) where I intend to hike up Mount Sinai and see where Moses saw the burning bush and hang out on the Red Sea. After a few days there, I plan to head over to Jordan to check out Petra which should be amazing. After that, I'll head north up to the Dead Sea and Amman and then back into Israel into the Galillee region to see places Jesus used chill by the lake.
In any case, leaving Tel Aviv was a freakin' relief. The place is a bit of a hole though I did like some parts of Jaffa. And Israeli boy was nice but obviously not nice enough. Let's just say, I'm happy to be moving on. Eilat seems to be very nice, though I've only seen it at night. I had no problem finding a hostel and I'll go and see about a visa tomorrow morning and then I'll take a bus to the Egyptian border. And I may just go for a swim in the Red Sea tomorrow morning...
