my aspiration used to be published in harper magazine some time soon, except i soon figured out that i had nothing useful to say. at least not in forms of paragraphs. but you don't seem to have that problem and you're a great writer, so...? [that might be a totally naive thought and might not be use to you, but just my two cents]

There's a writing contest for which we're accepting manuscripts now - there's a monetary prize, but of course the experience itself is rather nifty as well.
