(no subject)
Sooooooooooo!!!!!
Lots of things have happened...you all might have not noticed i'm gone since it seems like none of you read this anyway. Just an observation i noticed on the lack of comments of either wow thats so cool! you saw Colin Farrell or Ew he sucks.
But anyway, went to L.A. a couple weekends ago with Bri and my sister. We met the lovely Stasia there and stayed with her in her humble abode on the ...4th floor i believe...that was fun getting luggage up (i didn't have to do it, i parked the car, but coming down was a bitch). Day one we got into town. Found a popeyes chicken for Bri to finally taste. Then we drove around, got lost sorta...we were looking for the chinese theatre. Thats when we saw Colin Farrell. That night we went to long beach's "The Vault" and saw Hed(pe) and Kottonmouth Kings. Bri and I were very confused and our brains exploded with Kottonmouth Kings. My sister was loving it. We went to see Dj Starscream spin, but we couldn't see him, so we thought we missed him. Turns out he was spinning in between the bands' sets. So we go home.
The next day we sleep for god knows how long, then get up, get ready and head over to Virgin Records. Saw the last part of Sid's set, then watched another DJ that the lovely Stacia has talked about, Graham. Both were awesome. Bri bought the DJ Starscream cd, i got it for free as they handed it out. Her, I and my Sister got everything we owned signed! Then he headed out, we headed out and Stasia headed out.
My sister and I decided to do the tourist thing and do the walk of fame, taking pictures of like all the freaking stars. Then we hit up mann's theatre (the chinese one) and took pictures of the cement hand prints and feet with names. Bri was getting tired, so we headed home. We dropped her off, then my sister and I went out on our own.
We were going up Beachwood, looking for the hollywood sign. We found out real fast that it isn't lit up at night, so we continued to go up beachwood, up the mountain. At somepoint we almost drove off a driveway that no longer existed, managed to almost get hit by a car coming down a steep driveway really fast while we tried to make a 3-point turn. Then, we found the hollywood sign and can barely see it through the night as it stood about 400 feet infront of us. We stood there and thought about all the people that have committed suicide there because they were washouts in hollywood society...it was a touching moment. After that, we came off the mountain on the wrong side and were lost for two hours on the other side of L.A.. At somepoint we ran into Universal City with Universal Studios and stuff like that. We finally stopped and asked for directions and hopped on the freeway to get back. We then went to Sharon Tate's house where the Manson murders were. Yes they tore it down, but we just wanted to see the site...it was really....creepy feeling. There was this big stretch of driveway and it was just...dark. Bleh. So we started coming back out of Beverly Hills, and we saw a party with caterors, valet parking and big screens blocking the view of the yard. We wondered who's party it was.
The next day we went to 6 flags. Had a blast. Got a Batman shirt with a cape attached. It's awesome. After that we came home. :)
Ok...so pictures will come eventually, there aren't a lot of "L.A." pics, but there are some.
So, if you stuck with me until the end of this post and you are my immediate friends living in Arizona...i would like your opinion on perhaps doing some of these nifty events in October with me...
