9 Month Check-up
Today was Sasha's 9 month Well Baby visit. She turned 9 months last Wednesday. She is now nearly 29 inches tall! And she weighs 21 lb 5 oz. The nurse's 2yo son is almost the same exact dimensions, but he was a preemie. She is very healthy! No complaints at all. I did ask the nurse and doc about a freckle (or mole?) on the bottom of her right foot. She didn't have it in November and I think it is even bigger than when I first noticed it. Both said it is not cause for concern, but doc said we'd keep an eye on it. We'll do something about it if it becomes a concern. Her next visit is at 1 year. Hopefully then she can stop going so often.
Meanwhile, she is starting to take some steps when prompted. She is creeping (walking around holding onto furniture) faster. She let go of Daddy today and took 1 step to grab onto Mommy. Exciting stuff! I can hardly believe we're getting so close to 1 year already. It makes me consider the option of having another. I knew we needed to wait at least a year. I've also been considering how to celebrate her birthday.
