unexpected money
State Farm is officially awesome. This is the third time in the
past month or so that I've gotten a totally unexpected check from them.
The first one was a refund for the remainder of our Renter's Insurance
policy after we switched to Home Owner's. This was unexpected but
understandable.
The second one was due to a recalculation of our premium, which was
entirely unexpected and I'm still not sure how or why the numbers
changed in our favor.
The third refund "is a result of an age change" that, although I know
/why/ it happened, I completely did not expect.
It's kind of nice to have a company that readily and proactively refunds
me money I'm due without any badgering on my part, especially when it's
money I didn't know I was due.
