(no subject)
I got my hair cut today and had hi-lights put in it and WOA!!!! I AM BLOND!!!!! No kidding - it took some getting used to but I like it. I wasn't sure what Jeff would say but he says he likes it too. When I walked into the house this evening the girls looked up and were speechless because for about 2 seconds they didn't recognize me!! I left with longer, brown/gray hair and came home with short, almost blond hair. Jayna Ruth Put her hands on my face and said "White hair, Mama."
Spent the day doing my stuff today - visited the mall and bought myself a purse, went to Walmart and only spent $20 (didn't even get a shopping cart) then had my hair done and ate dinner with my friend and her 4 month old, Lucas. Ah, nice day. Jeff and the kids hung out here with my mom.
Please pray for my sister, Mari. She has a very serious viral infection in her eye and is in a lot of pain. Please pray for healing and for the pain relief.
It's HOTTHOTHTOHTOHTOTHOTHOTHOTHot here. Last night the wind blew very hard for several hours. I kept asking Jeff if we should come inside in case the trailer blew over on us. We stuck it out, but had Jorie and Jenna in bed with us. We were out of room so I slept in Jenna's bed with her. MISERABLE. We could smell smoke from range fires near here too so it was hard to sleep with that. I kept thinking that there was fire in the foothills behind my parent's house. That's a creepy feeling. We never did figure out where the fire is, there are several burning around the area, but evidently n ot as close as we thought. I guess the wind was carrying the smoke further than usual.
I am off to bed - it's hard work pampering one's self. I love y'all and miss you too.
