When can I talk about the end?

So, I've been wanting to write about Lost and what is differentiating it for me from shows like Battlestar Galactica (new version) and Six Feet Under. In the case of both shows, the endings were AMAZING. Like holy cow amazing. And they were a few years back, too. But so far as I know, there is not really a magical time when it becomes okay to talk about the end of a show or the end of a movie. I think this is a major problem!

Now, to be fair, when I was watching BSG via Netflix, I did a Google Search to see if the season I was watching was the last season or not when lo and behold, a spoiler was posted right there in the search results. I was not pleased. That being said, I also realized that a fair amount of time had elapsed and it wasn't really fair to expect everyone to talk in a hushed tone.

Is it okay to talk about The Crying Game and The Usual Suspects and Sixth Sense now? Can I talk about why I think nothing will ever top how Six Feet Under ended? What is the magic number?

........

In other very unrelated news, really looking forward to hanging with my local peeps tonight. Grilled cheese, beautiful weather, and KC and the gang sounds hard to top too!

And for you Lost fans, I highly recommend you check out this series of videos called Lost Untangled, with a muppet Dr. Pierre Chang. The one for last week's episode was, in my humble opinion, hilarious:

They already have one up from this week too.
