I don't think i'll be making any more three day trips up to rockport anytime again. I've experienced first-hand the "after 5" rule. Which states that after 5 El has had a few glasses of wine and starts to wear down on people's nerves. Never has she gotten me so annoyed before. It's a little depressing, actually. Even the beach was emotionally draining and stressful, skipping the details on that, since i'd be here for a little over an hour recounting all the things that went wrong.
Snagged Ma's old phone since mine was all wonky. Even though we pay $60 a year in warranty fees it's another $40 deductible to actually use the warranty. So Ma got a new phone and I got her old one, which is way better than my old one. So that's cool.
Hung around downtown with Christina, and, for a little while, Kyle. He didn't come down until later. Had SANDVICHES at Red's and loitered around in Game Zone and Harrison's like we always do.
Some dramaz brewing in the family pot. I'm not excited to possibly be a part of it after an out of line LJ post showed up on my mother's and aunt's walls. Some of it regarding Tina's kids, and how I wasn't too excited to have to deal with them. Ma wasn't too happy with em after she read it and I don't think Tina would be either, I was asked by them to be friends with them over facebook. I'm not going to censor myself on my facebook just because my parents or aunt might see it. You're running the risk of seeing something you may not like to see or read something you might not like to hear. I trusted you to be cool with it. I guess not, since it's been brought to my attention that it was offensive and should be edited or deleted.
TL;DR - Don't add family on facebook if you're likely to mention them in LJ posts.
