Things have been going well. I actually have a chance to make some cash soon. Which is nice, seeing I need to pay for a concert in a few weeks. Microsoft cer finally came in. No spiffy card though, im a little disappointed about it, but whatever. I can prove a passed.
Been reading the Book Thief for school, and it's pretty epic. It has everything, go pick it up so and learn much random German from reading it.
Replaying Persona 4, because I love it and I need something t pass the time. Picked up the visual boy GBA emulator and amused myself with some Fire Emblem, too. Support conversations makes me smile, because who doesn't love to change the canon pairings?
4th party was badass. I'm doing it with my dad's side from now on. Met up with my grandparents around 10:30 and we were in Rockland by 11. I swear Jay plans his entire year around the 4th. Theres obscene amounts of food. Bonfires, fireworks and a variety of games and shit. Hell. He got a fucking BOUNCY HOUSE THING. Was able to chat it up with a bunch of people I haven't seen a really long time too, so that was nice. Spent that night with Linda and was home around 1 the next day.
The only suckish thing was that Linda's dog, Daisy mangled the bejeezus out of my glasses ._. They're wearable, but they're taped, one of lenses is about to fall out, and the other has a huge scratch in them from teeth. Oi. I have an eye doctors appointment tomorrow morning. At least I might be able to snag some new frames out of it?
Ma's 4th wasn't nearly as awesome-filled as mine
She went up to Rockport to spend it with her family. We had brought my old bunk-bed up there a few weeks ago, and my grandmother was pestering us to get it put together before the 4th so people could use it. She went up early and was able to get it together. My aunt Sharon was using it that night, and the first thing to come from her mouth when she gets there is
Is my bed ready yet? Thanks for coming up early to put the bed together so I have a place to sleep tonight. Like she couldnt have come up early to help put it together?
It gets better.
Tina had organized this family trip down to the Seacrest. An overexpensive hotel down the cape. She got everyone together, they're all ready to go down in August. Who does she forget to tell? My mother, of course. It's nice, Tina that you can afford to spend $350 a night at the Seacrest. Especially when you bitch and moan about not being able to pay your mortgage, and if you wern't going to invite my mother (she offered to bring me with her. Because I really want to share a 2-bed room with you, your husband and you're two kids. No thanks.) you could at least make sure no one else slips the information to her by accident. Nice going.
They left even before the food was served because they had other plans, and of course they were pretty pissed. She's done that a number of times before. Oi.
