Ted Mack
Goddammit. Of all the entries in wikipedia, the Random Article button just has to give me Ted Mack , former mayor of, and member for North Sydney.
Ted Mack (I know without reading the article) is a fucking moron. He's the moron who took all the public garbage bins out of the entire North Sydney council area in order to cut down on public littering. No, I'm not sure how that was supposed to wor either
Then he became an independent state, then federal, member for North Sydney. In an effort to get rid of him, they gerrymandered the electorates, which meant that my house left John Howard's seat of Bennelong and wound up in North Sydney instead. And they still didn't manage to get rid of him until two elections later. But the gerrymandering sucked, because instead of putting me in an electorate where I could, with clear conscience, vote for John Howard, it put me in an electorate where the Liberal candidate was Joe Hockey, stupidest man in Federal politics. And for this, I blame Ted Mack.
Oh yeah, and apparently he refused to travel across the harbour bridge or through the harbour tunnel, as a protest against the awarding of the tunnel building contract to Kumagai Transfield. That's, like, the dumbest protest ever.
In conclusion, and I say this in an entirely NPOV way, Ted Mack is a dickhead, motivated by the need to mildly inconvenience everybody else to take out his impotent rage against things which really don't matter. Fuck you, Ted Mack. Fuck you right in the ear.
