Well, im back from arizona, in case some peeps didnt know i went there for the last few days.
i went with my dad, we dont communicate much, or very well, but we get along and have similar brain patterns. we flew there on thursday i guess, we got there pretty late so we didnt do too much, we just found a neat burger joint that served only like 5 things, but they made them really well. We went to a nice hotel, i had my own room, kinda, and i got to watch aqua teens, so it wasnt horrible. i brought my (jameses) gameboy with harvest moon (of course) and i bought a new game before i left, its called "megaman zero 2" its the sequel to the zero series that i never played, but with megaman games, story isnt THAT important. Its actually one of my favorite megaman games now, because you play as the wicked awesome zero!!! anways, we got up in the morning and did what we went there to do, tour UAT!!!!!
this school is perfect, a paragon of institutoins. There is no schol more perfect for me and my interests. Its just a small building, probobly smaller than perky high. the whole middle of the main level is one big computer lab, with like 100 computers, each more powerful than any i have ever used. There are also specialized computers, ones hooked up to DVD recorders, scanners, various types of printers, some have sound peripherals. There are some with linux and unix on them, and they have 10 apple G5's, which is impressive, because apple computers have never had any part in video game development (except for apple games which dont count). In every second room, theres a gamecube xbox and ps2, and there is a gigantic tv to play it on, 5 gaming pcs in the loung, and i huge theatre screen with 100 seats, and a state of the art sound system, also able to play games. This is just the school, there is so much more that it has to offer a dork like me. The living quarters are not really dorms. The school rented out 20 really REALLY nice, 2 bedroom apartments, and is gonna stick 4 guys in each one, and my dad already put a down payment on them. The apartment complex has a pool, a gym, a basketball court, tennis court, sand beach volleyball and various other perks.
im both extremely excited to be going there, and extremely sad to be leaving all my friends, and especially my girl...
this is something i have to do though, a person like me cant accomplish anything in montco (im sitting here in montco, haha) and i need to get out of pennsylvania, i've been here too long, and i need a change. Dont you dare think i wont be back though, i'll visit quite often actually, if i can help in. Im allowed to take one semester off per calendar year, so there is no real summer break, although im hoping to be able to take my summers off, because it'll probobly be ungodly hot in arizona, and also my high school friends will be free more!!!
so anyways, ya next fall i'll be leaving. My online status wont change, in fact it may improve, i'll have internet access from every place i go, i might be getting a kickass laptop, and they have high speed wireless connections in the whole school.
so all in all, im happy, sad, excited, and dreading this...
not to mention the 3 surgeries i'll be undergoing this summer, 2 are for sure, and now i gotta get my wisdom teeth out.
