What keeps you up at night?
Are you serious? You even need to ask this one?
So many things, it just depends on the day.
Usually it’s Mom. Who killed her and why. Stuff that’s normal for the family of an unsolved murder victim.
When I was little, it was Dad because of his job. I worried about him all the time. I never wanted him to know, but I know he did. But more recently it’s been the Dad I’ve come to know now. The Dad who’s lied to me about so much. Trying to figure out what he’s said that’s true…and how I can know.
And most most recently it’s been JD. What might have happened. Why I was so scared of things moving forward. Who killed him. And why they felt the need to frame me.
But this isn’t the “lay awake in bed” thinking kind of keeping up. This is the out on the streets trying to find out what happened kind of keeping up. The action kind. Hell…it seems like I’m the only one who cares.
