(no subject)
So I have a few minutes at work during my lunch break, so I thought I'd drop a quick update. What a quick weekend. Where did it all go?
Friday night was just chaotic. James and I hung out and played a rousing game of Super Mario Party on the Game Cube. It's better when we play together. We accomplish so much more (just like real life), and we always kick the computers ass. We had a number of medical calls for the fire department, and it kept my active and restless throughout the night, which led me to be cranky on Saturday.
Saturday night, James and I went out for Chinese. It was nice to get out of the house. He even put up with me and my crankiness. (The majority of my cranky spells come from the fact that I quit smoking). We went home and played Super Smash Brothers and then I had to go and help my friend Jenn out at Up All Night. I served 500 college students corn dogs, hot wings and cheese fries. Good god was it a flashback to my days at McDonalds.
Then there was yesterday. James wasn't feeling well, and was kind of cranky (he rarely gets cranky so I try to be extra understanding and stay out of his way)!! I mowed the lawn while he was working and worked on some homework. Since I had two late nights on Friday and Saturday, I went to bed ultra early.
Mom & Dad are having a really hard time with Hurricane Jeanne. It's really done a number on the house. The roof leaks, windows leak, and they've been living in a closet with no power or water for 3 days. I hate it for them. I keep praying for them, and hoping that all will be well. Houses can be rebuilt, I just want them to be safe.
This morning, I woke up and went to the SRC. It was great to get back to the gym. I need to make the commitment to myself to continue going every morning.
Nothing really big this week, classes, some programs for work and my birthday is on Friday. Oh yeah, 27.... not a whole lot happens after 21... they just come... and go.
