Yeah, I'm alittle late, but not THATTT late. Ok, and we're off!
Best Accomplishment: Graduating (with cum laude and departmental honors!), getting a real job as a graphic designer, and moving out and getting my own apartment. Okay, maybe that is 3, but I can't choose and they're all pretty great accomplishments.
Best CD: Hmm... Just off the top of my head at the moment I would have to say "Help wanted nights" by the good life. At first I thought the album was just okay, but it really grew on me. Runners up... "Places like this" by AIH, Piebald's "accidental gentlemen", and explosions in the sky's "all of a sudden i miss everyone"
Worst CD: Hmm... maybe not the worst but the most disappointing was the new rilo kiley album. eh.
Best Concert: I'd have to say it is a tie between the two David Bazan shows I saw EVENTHOUGH he didn't play big trucks. Runners up... the two of montreal/grand buffet shows I saw this year. Grand buffet is so awesome and of montreal puts on a fun show.
Best Movie: Superbad! And eventhough, I saw it this weekend and not in 2007... though it came out in 2007... I really really liked No Country for Old Men.
Worst Movie: Transformers. Biggest piece of shit ever. It upsets me to even think about it... and what upsets me even more is the amount of people who thought it was great (everyone except phil, dustin, devin and I). Fuck that movie!
Best Book: I actually read a decent amount of books this year thanks to my film and lit class and the month I spent commuting to work before I move out. My favorite would probably be The Every Boy by Dana Adam Shapiro. Runners up... The Great Gatsby and The Sun Also Rises. I need to read more Hemmingway... I really liked his style and content.
Best TV Show: Definitely 30 Rock. Runner up... Degrassi.
Best LJ Entry: Either the one where I found out I was part Swiss or the one where I said Dane Cook was dead. Awesome.
Person of the Year: Not Sal Pane. Hahaha, but seriously folks. Um, lets see... I don't really have a person of the year. Everyone sucked and no did anything really spectacular. Wait, Dustin broke his leg and made with a girl on crutches (he was on crutches, not the girl) oh and he kissed a 30 year old! Dustin is my person of the year. Hmm... I think Dustin was my person last year, oh well. Man, Dustin sure loves 30 year olds!
New Friend Award: Laura! The night before I moved to Hoboken I went down the Jersey shore to party with people I met on the internet/in Australia/hot girls where I met drunk Laura! We didn't really talk much and I think I called her Princess once or twice. Then we talked online alot and a few weeks later she had an extra ticket to go see Stars in NYC, so I went and it was great. Then one day she came over and she showed me Degrassi (which I am now obsessed with). Man, Laura is great! Runner up... Samuel from the ozma online forum. I only really started talking to Samuel this year eventhough we've both been on the forum for awhile. Then we met at the Ozma show in Hoboken and he let help him film the concert. He is a really cool/nice guy and super funny. Go Samuel!
Party of the Year: Mark's graduation party. That was such a nice, fun time. Honorable mention... hot girls/internet friends/australia friends party down on the Jersey shore.
Best Celebrity Encounter: I've actually met a few famous people this year thanks to the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre. I would probably have to say the best was Samm Levine (aka Neal from Freaks and Geeks). He was super nice and I'm sorry we didn't get to talk long... the fucking music was so loud. I think he lives in NY and I want to become friends with him.
Biggest Disappointment: Not kissing any girls in 2007. FUCK YOU 2007! I did kiss alot of guys... LOL, JUST KIDDING!
What one thing about the past year would you change: Um, not much... maybe kissing a girl, haha. But there wasn't really anyone I wanted to kiss, so I guess it's not that big of a deal.
Greatest memory of the past year: Um, Mark's party when we were out on his deck smoking cigars and drinking beer. That was pretty great. Also, a close second is that one day over the weekend when kurt and I went out to Andrew's beach house in LI. We drank miller high life in the pool and then at night smoked cigars and sipped brandy with andrew's dad. Awesome.
Theme of the Year: Not kissing a girl/Entering the real world.
Quote of the Year: Um, I am pretty sure it was after midnight last year when Dustin told that girl she had shit on her face and then continued to tell her it was still there, so I am going to count that as my quote of the year.

Anything to look forward to: I am taking a screen printing class at the beginning of March and I'm really looking forward to that.
Goal for 2008: Design Posters for bands. Travel somewhere cool. Kiss a girl.
