I *knew* it
I've been afraid to even take a day off work in the last two years because I was always afraid that I'd receive a call from Uni saying that immediately was to drop everything, finish my thesis and take my exams.
On the 21st of December, the grand finale of the case our firm has been working on for the last 7 or so years takes place, which means absolutely no holidays for anyone, going to work at 6.a.m. and leaving at 10 p.m.
Last Friday, my thesis advisor called and told me that I was to take my first exam of the doctoral viva on the 20th of December, otherwise, he would be available again in May 2013.
Yeah. I haven't slept much in the last couple of days. Tomorrow, I will take the first train to Vienna, have my voce and then take the next train back to work. Oh, joy!
