So I found Stefan and we compromised that Heather's responsible for Taffy's disappearance. Big surprise. I can't believe she hates Taf that much to actually just poof her out of existance. Well, more like into the spirit world. Which brings me to the next thing

I came to check on Maddie. I don't know exactly if that's what she wants or if it's what she needs, but I'm doing it anyways. Had to ignore Jenny's constant begging to go with me, that was exciting. Don't know if Stefan's around or if she's there all by herself, but I'm on my way.

I step in, closing the door behind me quietly. "No I, uh, actually came to see you. See how you were doing?" I walk closer over to where she is. "Didn't exactly expect Taffy to be back so soon speaking how long Heather's other spell lasted."

"Alright?" I ask, a little skeptically. Doesn't seem as peachy as she says for some reason. I don't know how I can tell, guess it's just a feeling. "You sure about that one?"

Walking closer to the window frame, I nod to what she's saying and cross my arms over each other. "Not a problem." I say, looking at the ground for a couple seconds before looking back up. "You really think she's a spirit? Like you were? Well, are, sort of. But..." I trail off, thinking for a moment. "She's okay though, right? She can't be hurt or anything?"

Geez, how am I doing? I know I'm trying to be the strong one, that's for sure. Don't know if it's workin' or not. "I'm worried, sure, but it'll get fixed. She'll be back," I tell her and after a moment add, "Er, not that I'd exactly want you dead again. Unless you like being dead? Not sure - I just figured um...being quiet was fun."

Blase? Definitely not blase. "Of course I care. I'm all with the caring here. Can't-sleep-can't-eat-can't-think caring." She's telling me how I feel? Makin' me a little angry. I try to cool off. "Answer your question, Maddie?" Not exactly working.

And then for some reason any anger that was there before is pretty much gone. I'm not sure what it was, but I've managed to calm down very quickly. Guess she's just looking out for Taffy. "...sorry. I've just sort of gotta' hold down the fort. Keep it together."

I laugh, just a little. "No shrieking breakdowns here, I'm afraid. Or anywhere. Specially not my place. Sister would point and laugh at me. She likes to do that."
