Loss for Words
Yesterday, my English Teacher and her husband got in car accident. She had a few minor injuries, as for her spouse, he passed away. My old French teacher Mrs. Petkau went for surgery today, because she has cancer. It's these sorts of events that open my eyes, and take me off my pedestal. It reveals to me that I'm not immune, I could die, I could contract cancer, everything is a possibility. These events also strengthen your faith in God(if you believe in him that is), I know after today I've become more dependant on him to keep me safe and protect me from harms way. The sad part is that it takes someone's life for people to realize that.
