Wow, ummm I must say that the Arcade Fire Concert lived up to the gossip about their live show, example Pitchfork. They sounded amazing, as well as the Belle Orchestre and Wolf Parade (one of my favorites). It had attitude, influence and probably everything else you can imagine. Definately somethign to be remembered. Although the sweaty surroundings were not all that comfortable, it was unnoticeable when you tuned in to see the act happening below. There was even an encore where they came back out and played two more songs to a crowd that would've basically stayed all night. Next up, Broken Social Scene (hopefully), which will probably also be an amazing show to witness. I can't wait.
Well, I haven't posted in this Journal since before school, I guess I could describe my year so far as well as explain some of my observations I have seen during the course of this entire September. School in general has been fulfilling to say the least, although Physics doesn't seem to be making my average any higher, only lower. Hanging out with friends, recollecting old memories, creating new ones, all of that kind of stuff. My Video Editing class has me really excited though, because I do like to take pictures so this class just expands that hobbie into video rather than film.
My XBOX is all set up now, no more mooching off of others just for a Halo fix....I've been playing everyday this week. I don't understand the appeal of this game, at all really, it's just....well, multiplayer....It keeps me occupied though so that is always a positive right?
I loathe the transition from break to school. Your routines, and sleeping schedules are all tampered with, leaving you in a awful mess. Somehow I get to school though, watch the clock, think about important, usually unimportant topics. An example would be school subjects, I don't understand why I have to take wretched physics to satisfy my need for a credit. I want to do something in journalism. Last time I checked history is much more important in the field of journalism than physics. I use these subjects as my example because my parents in actual reality won't let me drop Physics.
Anyways, I have to venture early in the morning., maybe I will incarnate some sort of amazing thought provoking idea about relationships. Usually people are more drawn to that topic rahter than me discus the ups and downs of our school system and how I would like it changed. Or maybe it's just me....
