Jihad As Addiction

One thing that occurs to me is that if this meme spread a bit, it might reduce the glamour of jihad to its potential recruits. Furthermore, we might better grasp its inherent irrationality and hence be less vulnerable to the "negotiation" trap. Finally, we could then with good conscience treat it as a mental illness and, in particular, remove children from jihadist households the same way we would if they were trying to addict their children to dangerous drugs.
