No, it is normal men (yes, I am not PC: transgender are deviation of norm) pretending to be transgender, in the women's room - who are a problem. Normal in equipment-sense, and definitely abnormal - in mental. Which we know - happens a lot, only usually unreported. Ask any woman - how many times in her life she encountered various degree of sexual aggression - from exhibitionists to violent attacker - if she is honest, you will be amazed. Why give predators legal excuse to expand their hunting grounds where there was none before?

No, I don't think it is possible to enforce the new/old law. But I do think it was necessary to reverse Obama's nonsense.

Personal note: maybe this need to feel safe in a place where one is vulnerable is instinctively understood only by a person who is vulnerable? In any case, I find most men become suddenly blind, num and thick as a log when subject does not concern their own safety and vulnerability.

N0o, I am not with you on this issue.

Example: questionable looking guy with a beard in the "nursing mothers" area at the mall. (For those who haven't been there-- it's a place to corral your kids, change diapers, sit down and nurse, and let over-excited kids hide in a corner for a bit.)

That was not fun.

Exactly. My concern was that there'd be men pretending to be trans (basically cross-dressing) and walking into women's bathrooms. Worse yet, the women would be called transphobic for not letting them in.

The question is, how do you know the difference between a cross-dresser and someone who really is trans?

Wow. What's worse was that he wasn't even on the sex offender registry in Washington State!

I'd have to agree with this comment's assessment, we as a society, arguably as a species, still have a big problem with rape and child abuse -- restrooms, etc. still being excellent stalking grounds for that. Of course it's not always happening, but it happens.

People waiting outside, or inside them, sometimes for hours, just for victims is a distinct pattern. We live in a world where people call libraries to hear a woman's voice in order to masturbate to it (and are presumably too cheap to call for proper phone sex); I read about that here on LiveJournal. Every time I think I've lowered the bar enough for humanity, the limbo continues to surprise.

People do use restrooms for consensual sex on a regular basis, as well as think of them as sexual places (your genitals are exposed, there are scents, golden showers, scat, etc) and that's with the current gender division -- so your "dick wagging" remark is entirely off basis (see: glory hole). https://en.wikipedia.
