A Thought On the Democrats Valuing Blacks Greatly

The Democrats used to value blacks greatly.

Then, the Republicans made the Democrats stop buying and selling them at auction.

It was a little dispute called the American Civil War. You may have heard of it.

And then the parties traded places with regard to racism in the latter half of the 20th Century with the Nixon Southern Strategy and northern liberalism.

According to the Democrats they did. Also, according to the Democrats, retaining racist Southern Democrat leaders such as Robert K. Byrd, a former high-ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan, was okay because his willingness to remain a Democrat magically atoned for his previous racism, which was fairly extreme (he refused to join the US military in World War II because he didn't want to serve in the same organization with blacks). Meanwhile, the Republican expulsion of leaders such as David Duke didn't count, because that was obviously just for show.

Of the two main American parties, it is the Democrats who make the appeal to race more, and who claim that there are mysterious inherent differences between whites and non-whites which require that the two groups be treated differently. But the Republicans are the more racist party, because the Democrats say so.

This "Democrats are racists and slavers" baloney is getting really, really old.

It's not at all "baloney." It happens to be historically true. The Democrats were the party who argued for the expansion and retention of black slavery; the Republicans were formed to end black slavery and did in fact do so; and the Democrats fought hard (including physically murdering their political rivals) after the American Civil War to keep blacks in an inferior position. It wasn't until the Republicans passed the American Civil Rights Act of 1964, and then Republican President Richard M. Nixon with the help of Republican FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover crushed the Ku Klux Klan, that the Democrats changed their mind -- because if they hadn't, the Democrats wouldn't have had any political viability.

This is fact. Calling it "baloney" doesn't make it magically go away.

It's called co-opting. Use the accomplishments of another for your own gain. The Republicans fought against slavery, even guys we love to hate doing their part. People like Nixon and Hoover. Nixon also was involved in Watergate but that is way worse than what the current one has been involved in, if you believe the democrats. Hoover was a crossdresser and secret gay man who persecuted the gays and lesbians. So, both of those are irrelevant to the democrats and their liberal idiots.

Secondly, remove teaching history from school or re-write it to something that fits your narrative. Witness how little things like history, science, economics, math, have been removed or turned into electives, while being replaced by such heavy topics as black and latin studies, LGBT studies, sociology.

Third, discredit anything and anybody else who had some influence in history. The last month has seen how the talking heads have been proposing to remove the Founding Fathers from the collective consciousness because many of them had slaves themselves. Proposals to remove all the buildings etc. in Washington DC commemorating many of the Founding Fathers like Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.

Fourth, is claiming that one group has unfair advantages over another aka White Privilege. Or Asian Privilege or any other group that isn't black. Someone want to remind me which group it is that has access to 'Affirmative Action' statutes? Which group is it that has fought for and gotten separate entrance exams to jobs like firefighter and police, while the rest of the citizens who want to work in those professions need to take the regular exam?

Fifth is keeping the attention on how a certain group is being persecuted by others, while totally hiding the persecution within the own group. Or as we call it, "Black Lives Matter". As long as a white cop kills a black person, it's in the news. But when it's a black person being killed by a black person, as happens daily, all over the US? All you hear are crickets. Neither Ebonics Professor TheRevAl nor TheRevJackson are anywhere to be found to speak up about the hundreds of slain black persons who met their end at the hands of a fellow black person come anywhere near that.

The below link is just about Chicago. How bad is it that there is a website tracking the number of homicides in a city on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis? BTW, isn't Chicago one of those cities with harsh anti-gun laws? Shouldn't that prevent the massive number of shootings? At least, that is what the anti-gun lobby is saying.

As for slavery, you know what is funny about that? The fact that so many blacks convert to islam. Who, exactly, where the first slave traders? That traded in African slaves? It wasn't the 'White Man'. No, it were Arabian traders, who bought captured men, women and children from other African men, who had gotten them in raids and inter-tribal warfare. So, black men sold fellow black men, women and children to Arabian men.

And it still exists in the Middle East and Africa, although, officially, slavery has been abolished all over the world. Blood diamonds, among other things, are mainly procured through slave labor. Many parts of Africa have slave labour working in farming and other industries. In the Middle East, you have the slaves in the hands of ISIS, both as sex slaves and the regular slaves. But even before that, you had and still have the foreign workers in Saudi Arabia and the other Arabian countries. Mostly domestic workers and construction workers from Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Thailand etc. who work for a pittance, don't have access to their travel papers, are beaten, tortured and some even killed.

But, just like the fact that gays and lesbians are being killed there, you don't hear much if anything about it. It doesn't fit the narrative of the liberals, socialists and democrats. Facts are for conservatives, or as they like to call them, bible-thumpin', gun-clingin' redneck racists. Feelings of superiority are all that matter.

Ayup. A black criminal who had just finished victimizing another black person is shot while charging at police, and it's "Black Lives Matter" and a bunch of rioting and calls for action against the policeman in question.

Hundreds of innocent, Christian black girls are kidnapped by Muslim extremists and forced into sexual slavery, and we get a hashtag and Michelle Obama's pouty face.
