I see he uses that tried and tested debating technique of accusing you of using a "strawman" whenever you point out a fallacy in his argument. Bravo!

People like this are surprisingly selective when it comes to what they class as racism. This Jewish SF blogger https://seasonoftheredwolf.wordpress.com/about/ writes about anti-semitism among certain prominent SF authors. Two of his favourite targets are China Mieville (Hugo winner and perennial nominee) and Charles Stross (anti-semitic despite being ethnically jewish apparently). Yet the sort of people who imagine without the slightest piece of evidence that Larry 'Sad Puppies' Correia is racist are perfectly happy to cast their Hugo votes for Mieville and Stross. Why? Because they're lefties. (In Mieville's case, a far, far, far, far lefty. He stood for election to Parliament for the Socialist Workers' Party, a violent communist party who believe that the Soviet Union wasn't left-wing enough. Thankfully pretty much nobody voted for him.)

If this was just about science fiction fans, it wouldn't be so bad. However, political correctness ruins lives. The news story probably hasn't made it across the Atlantic, but right now in the UK, the biggest news story is what has been happening in Rotherham.

Rotherham is a large town in Yorkshire. Former steel town. Poor, industrial. Pretty much run as a one-party state by the Labour Party. The local MP was sent to prison for expenses fraud, yet at the subsequent by-election the Labour candidate still won easily. The council has only ever been Labour-controlled. Among it's more spectacular abuses of power in the past have been forcibly removing foster children from foster parents because those foster parents voted for the United Kingdom Independence Party ('UKIP' - a party whose main purpose is to campaign for the UK to leave the European Union). http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2328341/Council-removed-foster-children-parents-Ukip-membership-discovered-finally-apologises-handling-case-seven-months-on.html

So what is the current story about? An inquiry has found that in a town of 250,000 people, at least 1,400 children were sexually abused by paedophiles. That sexual abuse included organised gang rapes and sex trafficking. The council was warned repeatedly and did nothing. The police were warned repeatedly and did nothing. In fact in some cases, action was taken against victims' families.

Why was nothing done? A disproportionate number of the of the paedophile gangs were muslim immigrants from Pakistan. The report is clear that the people who could have done something about it were afraid to speak out because they felt either that it would be racist to do so or because simply being accused of racism might have been enough to end their career.

Child sex abuse on a truly epic scale because of political correctness.

To add insult to this, the council officer who was in charge of children's services at the time is now the local elected police commissioner. He sees nothing wrong with what he did and is refusing to resign.

The only right-thinking thing to do to people who complain about 'racism' and advocate political correctness is to spit in their face, show them this story, make them read it again and again and then hit them hard until they understand.

My criticisms must have terrified the original author to the point of wetting his pants, because he closed down comments on the first post and then banned me from his blog. Essentially, because I persisted in pointing out the problems with the assumption that only whites can be racists. The specific thread he closed down comments over was the one in which I asked one of his other commentators whether or not WisCon's "Safer Spaces" was racist.

Charles Stross is a particularly vile individual. He equates Hamas with Israel, actively supports supporting terrorism, and considers it unobjectionable to engage in criminal business fraud to go after conservatives. This is too bad, as he's not a bad writer. I have made it a point of pride to only every buy his books used, to avoid giving him any credit or royalties for his work.

Equating Hamas with Israel is a fallacy, but is it on that basis or something else that you say he actively supports terrorism? Also, what do you mean by "(he) considers it unobjectionable to engage in criminal business fraud to go after conservatives"?

You missed a "support" in there-- if he's urging people to support Hamas with any knowledge of their tactics, then he supports supporting Hamas.

I've yet to meet someone who equates Hamas with Israel who doesn't know of their tactics, they just try to justify them.

He considered it morally acceptable when Carlos Yu and Douglas Muir made fraudulent bids on my eBay sales in order to both block the genuine bids and then immediately post negative feedback on my account, because I am a conservative.

This is gigantic -- it means that over one half of one percent of the whole population of the town was repeatedly raped by this gang before it approached a scale such that it could no longer be shoved under the rug. In some cases, as you point out, political dissidents were, de facto, punished by having their children raped.

This is also an argument against gun control. In any place without gun control, the responsible officials would be in hiding by now.

The worst part, the authorities were aiding the criminals, they found a young girl half naked under a guy's bed and arrested HER!
