Yahoo! cut out of the original article by the writer the fact that the attackers were "several black males," changing the description to "several people." Given that this was a Juneteenth celebration, this is highly relevant information being omitted. Given that this is a report of a major felony, this is information being omitted which might aid in the apprehension of the criminals.
Apparently, Yahoo! felt that it would be racist to mention the ethnicity of the assailants, but not the ethnicity of the victim.
