Writer's Block: Words that you love and hate
What are your favorite and least favorite words? Any reasons why?
I hate the word "relationship" applied to a love affair. The terms "love," "liking," "lust," or "friendship" describe most likely love affairs quite well, and actually sound like there are some emotions involved. If it's really twisted and complex, then show or tell it, don't use a vague term that really tells you nothing about how the characters feel.
