Has Gaddafi Totally Lost Touch With Reality?

Rick Moran, in "Gaddafi seals his fate" (American Thinker, February 23rd 2011, http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/02/gaddafi_seals_his_fate.html), makes the point that Gaddafi may literally be going insane, judging by his statements. I'm ( Read more... )

I'm sure he's always been nuts.

I am far more concerned about the fact that our President immediately denounced the brutal-evil-Mubarak; who kept peace, was strategically important and relatively calmly stepped down, and is going to be replaced by who knows what; but can barely manage interest in the guy who says he will set his oil wells on fire and is using his Air Force to bomb his own people. Iran he wouldn't condemn when video of Neda shot in the street was available, but Mubarak must immediately step down and we condemn Israel in the UN.

Is Barry aiming for just "Necessarily skyrocket" or Wilson's second term?

But yes, G is undoubtedly a nut.

But yes, G is undoubtedly a nut.

Yes, and mentally speaking, Gaddafi and Obama are blood brothers under the skin. This promises to be a very interesting year for deposing utterly incompetent nutcases -- in most cases, with extreme prejudice.

Libya has failed him. Libya thus does not deserve to keep its source of wealth.

Quick, nobody tell him that you can't really burn a subterranean oil deposit, or he might do something effective.

Inconsistency that works against US allies is the consistent thing for Obaaaaah to do. All considered, Mubarak actually stepped down without government-violence on his instigation (not too unlike Marcos, actually, but also unlike because he didn't -seem to- have a General Ver begging to shoot on the protesters)

Basically if the country currently going up in flames has been hostile to the US, expect Obama to support the one that's likely to be more hostile to the US; if it is an ally or friendly, Obama won't stop anything that will remove the ally from power.

What's he up to?
