the planet Mercury has a core of molten iron with a large impurity of sulfur. This is exciting news for those interested in space industry, as a liquid core means a more active geology, which in turn means that there probably has been a separation of elements and recombination into mineable ores.

Thus, Mercury almost certainly has not merely solar energy, but also minerals as resources.
