It's here, on chris_gerrib's http://chris-gerrib.livejournal.com/256870.html?view=538214#t538214

I'd be happy if some more jumped in to Defend the Right in the Holy Land ;-)

I don't think Chris understands war, or just how small Israel is. I also don't think he understands how close Iran is to making an atom bomb. The hardest part about a bomb is getting the nuclear material. Apparently they've already got that now. Building the bomb itself is trivial.

Very good point.

Post it to him! Seriously, because I didn't address that one -- he's making the assumption that Hamas is magically limited by Divine Edict from ever detonating nuclear weapons, but of course if the blockade was lifted, Hamas could bring in anything it could convince anyone to sell or give to them.

I don't think Chris understands war,

Which makes it *really* funny that he is claiming to have a military history degree. Either he is lying about taht, or educational standards have dropped to ... Well, liberal standards.

He may have one, he just doesn't -get- it. Many people who study history have a tendency to put their own beliefs on the people of the past (much like people ascribe human behaviors to animals). They find some of the beliefs of others so alien and hard to understand, that they discount them and substitute their own.

Furthermore, historians make lousy generals. There are a lot of people who can tell you how every superbowl game was ever won. It doesn't mean however that they could quarterback or coach one.

What the hell.

Did that guy just completely sidestep the human rights violations of Hamas (firing rockets at civilians).

WTF is wrong with Palestinian apologists.

I just can't do it. This week has worn me down to a nub.

I'm so sick of all of the Pali-huggers crowing and strutting about like they just cured cancer or something.

I figured I'd console my self by doing some research into making Aliyah - and halfway into it THE WEBSITE GOT HACKED BY NEO-NAZIS!

WTF is wrong with this world. I hate everybody right now.

On the bright side, Helen Thomas may lose her job.

Proverbs 26:4-5 (New International Version)

4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
or you will be like him yourself.

5 Answer a fool according to his folly,
or he will be wise in his own eyes.

One can not reason with the left anymore it better to use or blogs to get the word out.

Today I had a chat with an ultra conservative super Israel hating inside the beltway guy.

Do you know what he said, asking me if I knew more about this situation than he'd yet found?

"Man, I'm trying really hard to figure out how to blame this one on the Israelis, and I've got nothing."

I share this to point out that if he, an extremely bright and knowledgeable Israel hater, can't come up with any angle in which to blame Israel, it's pretty damn clear cut.

As I indicated above, the thing he isn't is a pro-terrorist, pro-Leftist. As much as he would like to blame Israel, he can't, because despite his strong feelings he bases his opinions in some form of reality.

Those who can still manage to blame Israel here in my view are incapable of rationally considering the situation. They know all they need to know. They cannot be reached. I don't know this guy, but I imagine he fits that bill ( ... )

The hatred Israel engenders is only matched by the inanity of Her opponents, wouldn't you agree.

It would appear to be the case.

I am no big fan, but the majority of critics are just embarrassing. The very least they could do is be honest with themselves and others.

I was watching Al-Jazeera today (don't ask) and the anchor was interviewing someone from the first flotilla and she said, "Israel said they were attacked first. What do you have to say to that?" "9 people are dead!" "Also, the Turkish press released photos of the IDF soldiers with stabbing wounds and covered in blood. You claim to be non-violent but what do you say to those pictures." "Rabblerabblerabblepropaganda." "... you didn't answer the question."

When Al-Jazeera can't make your cause look credible, even though they try bless em, then there is something wrong.
