Lonesome...ness
I've got a week to myself as the rents have gone to Spain for a holiday. Good on them -- getting out of here while they still can! The weather's appalling right now. Last time I went outside it looked like the pond was about to overflow and I'd have to deal with fish in the garden. So yeah, it's just me, the cats, and the chicken. It's probably a good thing that no one's here at the moment because I've been going through me final presentation over and over again. Anyone who had to hear me going on about socioemotional processing repeatedly would have quickly gotten bored out of their skull. Still, it'll all be over by this time tomorrow. I've still got my actual project to get on with, but this is the final piece of coursework that I have to do. All of us have to present a 15-minute talk on our proposed research and personally, I'm finding it very difficult to stick to time. I've got to talk myself through 26 slides in 15-mins... ugh. I'll be glad when it's over.
