so here is, quite possibly, the only "real" update i've ever done.
lets see...
was out of walgreens (for good) april 22nd. much lounging ensues.
went to visit grandmother in pennsylvania for a few days. was sad.
said grandmother passes away may 23rd. memorial scheduled first week of july, so i'll be in pennsylvania for that.
bout a week ago: liz and i broke it off. she said she wasn't ready for a relationship. in a later discussion she said something along the lines of "talking to me when she's ready"; i have the unshakable feeling she won't talk to me again, and will just cease contact. if worse is worse and that's the case, i'd like someone to tell me, because i really don't want to be left wondering. thanks.
recently: catching up on study for certifications. getting easier every time, but... A+ is nothing. networking and security will follow, then maybe windows NT and XP. then server 2003. the only downside? it's so goddamn boring and monotonous, but so slightly similar that it will melt together in my head and become a giant blob of terminology and scenarios.
very recently: i went to mah favorite blockbuster today with lister to wander aimlessly, but lo and behold, mass amounts of xbox games had been stolen. around 20 or more in a day, since i had been there but two days before, and everything was ok. of course they stole the highest price games, so guess around $800. yea thats bad, someone could get fired over that. i'm tempted to get a job there, just because i'm around friends, but that also presents the situation of taking orders from friends, and dealing with them in a professional way. then things transfer to outside the work place, and bad times ensue. so i think i'll pass.
in the future? in the future i hope to get off my ass and get some woodworking skills going. also would like to get some basic photoshop skills so i could give image to some rough ideas for some guitars i have. just so you know, that coincides with the woodworking, as i think being a luthier would be awesome. so for now, ill dink around with some minor things, such as:
switching pots in my stratclone from 250k to 500k,
going from a 3 single coil to a 2 humbucker set up, with the leftover EMG H-1's i have here,
routing the stratclone to fit 2 humbuckers,
cutting a pickguard to fit the new humbuckers, and installing it properly.
but if that doesn't pan out, or the guitar itself can't handle it (which would not surprise me, its made of a plywood type material that is extrememly light and flimsy) then i'll just disassemble the whole thing to get a better idea of how it was put together. if that all clicks... then maybe i'll be making some customs for Forever's Night. that'd be cool P-)
in closing, i took the time to write this, SO GIVE ME SOME FUCKING COMMENTS.
