woo i have a life again!!!
Ahhh! I'm finally done with my exam. I'm not sure if I passed, but at least it's OVER! Everyone in my class seems to agree that it was a tough exam. I needed all of the 4 hours we were given to finish it. Went downtown afterwards and bought some fabrics second hand, and then spent some time cleaning and redecorating my room. I get so messy when I study hard; there's school papers everywhere, tiny post-its on the walls, books on the floor... it's still not completely tidy, but I put up my new curtains. They look great. Since my bedroom is a livingroom split in half with a divider of curtains, it's not much privacy when people are on the other side of the room. I used to have curtains that were light in color, so you could see through them at spots. The new ones are dark, which means I don't have to time getting undressed so I don't accidentally expose myself to someone. Sweet!
Tomorrow me and some friends are celebrating another friend, and the day after that I'm going to Stockholm for my internship. Since I've been so busy studying for the exam, I haven't really had the time to worry about it yet... I think it's going to be fine though. One of my classmates from uni is going to live with me, which is a bit scary but fun. Living in Linköping has been like living in a different world from Stockholm and I didn't think the two would collide so soon. I'm a bit nervous on whether the topic about my mom will come up since she doesn't know anything about her or her issues. It's not a secret, but it's not something you just casually slip out while talking about the weather either. I think about it sometimes, and how I would explain it to the people here, but it's difficult to phrase it in a way that seems fair. I think the bottom line is that she has issues, it occasionally bothers me, but that she's still my mom and has a lot of good traits as well. We'll be staying at my dad's place so maybe it won't come up though.
The situation with the roomie from my previous post has been averted for now... I still don't know what he wants but I casually mentioned yesterday that I like men with tattoos (he has none) and joked that there shouldn't be any fratinizing withing the apartment. LOL it's a cowards way but maybe it'll work for now.
