*snerk* Okay, okay, I enjoyed the story and it's emotionally well done... But I've been playing around with a story for these two and when it comes to Glee fic, I need a song as a starting point, and the one I'd picked for this idea was Crash and Burn. Great minds think alike.

Seriously, though, I enjoyed the dig into the mind of Puck. That boy's got quite a bit of baggage he tries to ignore, doesn't he?

Crash and Burn is such a great song for these two, because you just know if/when shit hits the fan for either of them, the other will swoop in. Great minds indeed.

Apparently I need to check the Finn/Puck comm more. So much love! Everyone's reactions were dead on, I think. Had Finn sung that song to Puck, I can totally see Puck sitting there like "You want to fly away into the night with me? And mend my broken heart? Seriously?" And then promptly tell Finn to stop being a girl.
