FUCK the SA forums.
I made my first post on the SomethingAwful forums, a site that has a long-standing good reputation.
I was looking to create a web comic or a flash comic, and after browsing the forums and trying to get a feel of what people other than just myself and my friends like (y'know, just to see if my style of humor is universal. Turns out it is). So I made a huge mistake. A mistake that would get my asshole ripped open and prison-raped by large black men, all of which named Ty.
So what was my mistake? I asked a question. I looked for suggestions to sort of jump my brain out of writers block hypersleep. No such luck. I got idiotic responses and cold attacks. Wow, thanks for the tips there, pals. I ask a question, I get attacks on my intelligence, as well as questions regarding my sexual preference. Hey, here's a tip for you! Grow the fuck up.
I suppose it's mostly my fault in the first place. I'm associated with the Bolt.com forums as well as various DDR-based forums (don't just talk about DDR, talk about everything else). Everything I've asked on those forums have been answered nicely, and there was no maliciousness involved. Ever.
I don't mean to be a little bitch about this, but it just bothers me that the SA forums encourage you to talk about things and ask questions, and at the same time, you get your asshole torn out and your sphincter is presented to you in a nice little package with frilly ribbon.
Nougat may be right. The SA forums breed assholes. Like Juggertard and Noki...assholes.
