my grandfather
I was beside my grand dad when he passed away last Thursday, August 17 at 12:35 pm. As per his wishes, there was no viewing and he was cremated last Sauturday at 9:00 am in Jersey City, NJ. His memorial service was yesterday, Tuesday 9:30 am at our Lady of Mercy also in Jersey City, NJ.
If its not too much, can I ask for you to pray for our grandmother that she may have the strength to carry on without him.
I grew up with my grandfather... he practically raised me. With him gone, I did not just loose a grand father but I also lost a father.

Thank you grand dad for all the memories and time you gave us with your presence. I know you will forever be with us and watch over us, the love and support you provided us with will always be cherished. You're my grandpa, my father, my teacher and my friend. I love you with all my heart!
