I AM A CLUSTERFUCK RIGHT NOW
I can't focus on anything. I have a calc exam tomorrow at 8 freaking o'clock in the morning and then I have a horrible day ahead of me (as all my wednesdays are... calc at 8, english at 9, bio at 11, chem at 1:30, chem lab at 3:30) and I can't even study for my stupid exam
stupidstupidstupid. I looked at the review sheet and I am like D: I can't do this without notes. And they generally frown upon using notes on a test that isn't open notes. I am probably worrying too much, and once I start writing stuff down on notecards (because notecards are fun and productive) I will probably feel better. but right now I am like OH GOD I'M GOING TO FAIL. last semester my math exam grades went up every time. the first one was mediocre, the second one was better, and the third was like, a 90 something. I NEED TO DO THAT AGAIN. df;kladasd if I do poorly in this class I won't even be eligible for the BS in cellular biology WHY IS SCHOOL SO HARD NOW oh yeah that whole "studying" thing
I wanna like, fast forward to english class (lol) because then my exam will be done and I will be able to register for my stupid classes for stupid next semester. and then fast forward again to after the stupid chemistry lab.
SPEAKING OF STUPID LABS. TODAY'S BIO LAB WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. we're just starting ecology this week (be still, my beating heart ;|) and our lab today was on that. So what do we do? We get peg boards, dried beans, and wooden sticks and lay them out on the peg board. then we blind fold someone and rearrange the beans ("prey") and get the blindfolded person (""predator"") to """hunt""" for """"prey"""" with their finger. oh there was also a stupid computer simulation.
THIS TOOK ALMOST THE FULL 3 HOUR LAB PERIOD. WHAT. it was so useless. WHAT DOES THIS TELL ME ABOUT ECOLOGY AND PREDATORS HUNTING FOR PREY EXCEPT THAT IT'S REALLY HARD TO FIND BEANS ON A PEG BOARD WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE SHIT.
also my discussion class for calc (basically where the profs let the TAs go over more stuff outside of class. they are mandatory and there are quizzes) was canceled today, THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAM, because of my TA's "emergency". I don't know if he actually had an emergency other than his name (Yu Wang. seriously.) but ON THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAM, REALLY. THE ONE TIME I WANT TO GO.
