Ah, Come On! This Is Not Fair!!!! royalladyemma July 22 2010, 13:49:15 UTC
Okay, Smarty-Pants -- while absolutely brilliant, this is just totally cruel and unusually harsh punishment!!!!!!!

How could you just leave me hanging by a thread -- "...way too important to be in that building today".

It's obviously John Hart talking to a paid whatever-he-is about keeping Ianto occupied while Hart does something nefarious either to or inside some building. And while I praise John for keeping Ianto safe, it's killing me not to KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AND WHY!!!!!

This is nothing more than a 100 word prologue to an amazingly enthralling story!! Please, won't you consider expanding and telling us the whole story -- a really nice long, involved story with lots of scrummy Jack & Ianto, whatever's necessary of Gwen, and John Hart being his usual bad self??? I know you have the imagination to do it (hint, hint, suck-up!!!!!)

Looking so very forward to anything that comes next -- Me

Oh, that is some fantastic buttering up. Did you read the Thorn in the Years drabble that is linked to at the start? That should tell you when I have set this. However, I love that you like this, and I have to say I am considering extending it beyond just a drabble. And your comments, (if they still hold when you have read the companion peice) may just spur me to do it! Thanks!

Just read Thorn and that one line "the one thorne in all their years of roses" just blew me away! First off, I'm so amazed & intrigued as to why on earth Ianto would cheat -- he just doesn't seem to be wired that way -- he seems like the faithful sort, who looks sometimes but never touches. What did this person do to Ianto that brought this about -- new pheromones, drugs, hypnotism, what???

But even more fascinating is the question, why would John Hart help Ianto, even if it was in such a devious way -- I know he wants Ianto out of the picture, thus the cheating bit, but why go so far as to save his life in the process? You cannot for an instant make me believe that Captain John Hart has developed any form of a conscience whatsoever! It's simply not possible. So, you've got some major explaining to do!!!

And yeah, I'll butter you up six ways from Sunday if you'll expand on this quickie!!!!!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked that line. After the prompt it just flowed.

I have started outlioning a longer fic to tell this story properly. It may take a while, but it will come. Mainl;y because of you! So thanks for the encouragement.

Lol, thank you. I hadn't really though about the fact that John is specifically saving the day with sex, but that is pretty funny.

Thank you for your kind words.
