he was! Unless there is a trainer/someone else wearing a GFC top that looks a heck of alot like him that was walking on the field with the other non-playing players (harley, king, someone else...)
Arthur and I went to Clifton for the weekend. We left as soon as he came home from school on Friday.
We came home yesterday afternoon around 4pm... The FIRST thing he did after shutting the gates, BEFORE he unloaded the car, BEFORE he fussed over his dog, was to go immediately into the house and ask John:
"Did Geelong win last night?"
John's muted yes, smothered by the biggest smile had Arthur whooping it up all over the house, then outside with his dog, running all over the back yard, fussing over the dog singing at the top of his voice the Geelong theme song.
I'm impressed Geelong did this with such a young team. It will be interesting to see if that has any effect on the real season's performance and expectations.
I was at home, listening to the radio over the phone (mum put the radio next to the phone since it wasn't on the radio up here and I couldnt get the online streaming to work) and after we won I hung up and ran downstairs to tell trav and he couldn't care less.
Some supporter he is. He said 'I don't care about the basketball cup'
