Life has been pretty good to me.
Tomorrow I will be having my first corporate lunch at
Royal China at Raffles. I am feeling kinda nervous actually, since I am the most inexperienced in the whole team. This might also mean that it is effectively half day for me, since I doubt it will be a strictly 1 hour lunch, and take into consideration the time taken to travel to and fro.
My unit trusts are all making decent profits, so I decided to realize the gains, and go in again when the market adjust itself. Too bad I am restricted to just unit trusts. My sister's boyfriend made $3,000 from the market surge, and 'would have made an additional $10,000 if I had held it for another day'. But, Leon pointed out, if I factored in the $120 I lost in mahjong over the weekend, net gains will not be so significant. But, that two different issues boy. =) Just like trade and non-trade related, mahjong is non-trade related (my gains are not taxable and my losses are not deductible) while my investments are trade (my gains are taxable, though I doubt my losses are deductible). =P
One more week to my holiday! I am so looking forward to it!
Love
