Gamerdom
I saw a show on TV the other day about the history of video games and it really got me thinking about how old I'm getting. It also got me thinking about how I ever could have found some of those old games so entertaining. Space Invaders and Pac-man are great for reminiscing, but I could never spend hours and hours playing them again. I wonder if I'll feel the same way about the games I'm currently playing in ten years.
Anyone ever read the Otherland series by Tad Williams? The virtual world that he describes isn't so far fetched if you think about it. I just hope they come up with something comparable before my body starts breaking down on me. Virtual greased up barbarian Jon ftw!
