Thankful for
We did our standard "go around the table and say what we're thankful for" thing. My contribution:
I'm thankful that I live in a place where most of the people I'm around try to do something in their life to help other people without reward for themselves. I'm also thankful that so many people are unwilling to compromise their work ethics even when the economic incentives encourage it.
There's context there, and maybe all y'all have had different experiences. But that's my experience, and I'm thankful for it.
