Hello, I'm still here, you haven't managed to get rid of me! :D
So, it's been two weeks since I've last written here and a lot has happened. As I'm not feeling poetic enough to write anything deep and meaningful (am I ever?) I'm just going to list the main points because everybody loves lists. (Which reminds me of that I should do that drama list some time...)
The list is not in order. I'm not that organized. :D
#1 T-ara and Supernova's song TTL (Time to Love) is AMAZING. Firstly, it's a collaboration song sung by a girl band and a boy band. Big Bang and 2NE1 did also one, Lollipop, but these people are actually performing this song unlike BigBang and 2NE1. Secondly, everybody can rap! I didn't have to block my ears when I listened to the girls. Finally, and this is the most important point, there's physical contact between boys and girls! IN KOREAN TELEVISION. 8D
#B Korean girl bands in general are awesome. Girls' Generation is my old favorite but T-ara, KARA (please don't kill me) and After School (diva diva di-di-diva!) are catching up quickly along with f(x), Brown Eyed Girls and Wonder Girls. I blame the choreographies! My radar gets messed up when girls shake their hips. XD Moreover, after watching Jo Kwon getting owned by his Japanese clone called Tany you would also google the songs used in that clip.
#γ Getting tired of Korean songs yet? This is the last one, I promise! SS501, some random boy band, found their way into my heart with a song called Love Like This. The song is catchy, I like how they promoted the song and the guys aren't too ashamed to dance KARA's butt dance on national television.
#42 I watched Battle Royale yesterday. It made me think and I don't like when movies do that. :D I was cheering my favorite characters to kill everybody else and it made me wonder if that's the whole point in the movie: showing how brutal things people can watch and still call in entertainment. The movie was an eye-opener in its own way but I'm too scared to watch it again.
#YAY I finished My Girl. It was a really good drama, full of comedy and romance. I loved the female lead who manipulated everybody however she wanted. My OTP lost, Lee Jun Ki didn't win the girl's heart but at least the making of material shows that they had more chemistry than the real main couple. LJK and Lee Da Hae flirted with each other the whole time. 8D
#1.45i IRIS IRIS IRIS. I'm stuck in the halfway. I'm not as hooked as I thought I would be. In my opinion, its epic plot and budget with which you could feed all the hungry kids in Africa are suffocating the drama. Is it a good drama? Yes. I'm just not a part of the target audience. I enjoyed much more when pretty Lee Jun Ki was running around Seoul thinking he's a real criminal even though he was an undercover cop who got an amnesia! (Time Between Dog and Wolf was awesome.)
#x² As some of you know, historical dramas are my favorites. I found a new one, The Return of Iljimae. It's a totally different drama from LJK's Iljimae. They're both based on a Korean manhwa but this version I'm watching now has the copyrights of the comic book while the other one just used the idea of a Korean Robin Hood. I'm watching this drama with a speed of three episodes a day so you can probably understand how great it is. The male lead, Jung Il Woo, is the prettiest thing since Lee Jun Ki. The romance between Iljimae and Dal Yi is cuter than this kitty because the guy is the one being shy and embarrassed while the girl is just like "what? i wasn't stalking you while you where washing yourself, how dare you! now, i didn't quite see through your shirt yet so i'm just going to shove you to the river and laugh at your fail while shamelessly fangirling your pretty looks". I'm not kidding.
#amsflakm I've mentioned Lee Jun Ki in three different points, this is the fourth time. I've watched all his dramas where he has a bigger role and I have only two movies left. D:
#H₂O It's the Christmas holiday and we aren't going to school until the 7th of January. :D I was a bad person and I didn't give Christmas cards or present to anyone. One of my friends gave me a present though. It was a boy band yaoi manga. XD
