roller coasters
so -- the good news is
i am in school again
i start winter quarter at Seattle central to work on my associates degree. going to go be an uber geek i think...we shall see.
the bad news and part of the sense of panic that is only just receding was that the govt completed denied me any financial aid -- did you know that i am rich? neither did i....further they pretty clearly stated that i would likely be fucked for financial aid next year as well ( not that this will stop me form applying)
special thanks to anyone who dealt with me over the last couple weeks - specifically last weekend, its been rough for a variety of reasons and compounded heavily with terror and panic concerning both my immediate and distant future.
extra special thanks to Jmac for running me all over hell and gone monday trying to contest the financial aid BS and upon my subsequent defeat at the hands of some (literally) fatassed pencilnecked bureaucrat, seeing to it that i got properly drunk listening to irish music.
and an uberthanks to my folks for stepping up and payin for at least this quarter.
whew
i am proud of myself and it feels bloody fucking good to say that.
there is still one significant hurdle to deal with and that will be unemployment/part time work.
will know more of that after I am gone from the speazy.
i need to buy books for school
transportation is going to need to get sorted out too --
Bat is hooking a brother up with a 'buspass" must get the bike (KATE) up and running again.
much to do but at the same time so much already accomplished, not without your support...which i appreciate.
