Every time, around this time of year. It doesn't feel like christmas, it hasn't felt like Christmas since that horrible Christmas of 99. But that was a REAL christmas. With snow and family and warmth and all the good stuff. And knowing that you could go outside and know your neighbors.Childhood is so golden. And that dead end street where the snow piled up from the trucks and we'd play with it for days. The lovely feeling that grey skies can give to the soul. And yet this is Christmas? No...I guess it will never be the same. In fact, last year seemed more like Christmas than it has for years, perhaps it's the place, the age, the people. But I'm so Bostonhome sick.
