Ska Show Review.

Yesterday was one of the best ska shows I've been to in a long time. Eh...it has been a long time since I've been to a ska show anyway, haha. It was cool though. The room was not too crowded and large "skank pit/circle/thing" started behind us . The stage there is huge and you have to look up at the band literally. I didn't mosh/skank at all that night in courtesy for my lost girlfriend. She enjoyed it though, even if the room smelled of smoke and sometimes weed.  First up were the Supervillains that started an hour late than scheduled.  They were really interesting, but such a weed/stoner/drunk band. The guys were young compared to the old men of the pietasters and the toasters. The saxophonist would play and drink and play and drink some more. And the guitarist is white with crazy blonde/black dreads. Overall they were a pretty catchy, alright band.
The Pietasters were the best, I thought. Their songs were all different in a way and quite skankable. Shane Black and his brother Ryan were there. Shane didn't seem to like the idea, while his brother was a natural rudeboy. I was getting tired from skanking and moving around and by the time the toasters came I was really tired. They had an awesome jamaican bass player though. He's so cool.  We listened to about 4-5 songs of theirs and left. I was too tired, can you believe that? Too tired.  It was fun, really fun.
