arowana died

My arowana died yesterday. I think I had it--but I believe it was a 'he'--for 6 years now. It was sort of a pre-high-school-graduation gift from my mom. Despite how much we fed it, or whatever we fed it, it didn't grow as big. Aquarium arowanas usually grow to more than about two feet. But mine, was a little shorter than that.

Anyway, my aunt and my nephew (actually my cousin's son) visiting from the States are with us right now. Billy is quite the bibbo and hyper type of kid. He's just five years old, very smart and so adorable. [Amerikano ba naman...blonde hair and all...mistisuhin.]

Yesterday morning, I scooped out the dead fish from the aquarium, rinsed it, stuffed it in a plastic bag and stored it in the freezer...for now. [It's still in there. I'll bury it when I find a suitable place for it to rest. I definitely can't flush it down the toilet.] My nephew loves the arowana that he drops by its tank and talks to it every morning. When he went down, and saw that the arowana wasn't where it was supposed to be, he asked the help. Well, being nice to the boy, they showed him the bag from the freezer. He was absolutely abhorred. He thought that they intentionally put the fish there. "That is so mean, it will die if you put it in the bag," he told everyone. [Really funny what goes on in a child's mind.] My aunt explained to him what really happened.

'la lang... (^_^)'
