visa call-in service mishap
I called the US Embassy after filling out the online form to schedule me for an interview for my visa application. All the while I thought I had accomplished everything before I actually made the call. I forgot that they were requiring my passport to be valid six months after the intended travel. Whopeee, my passport expires February of next year already.
Ayan at dahil pasaway, nasabihan pa ako nung call center girl na nakakainis. I know she was whispering it under her breath or perhaps to her fellow call center agent. But I guess she was just too frustrated because I was this clueless applicant who wasn't following the instructions, napalakas tuloy ang sabi. I actually made her blab about the whole application process and had her fill-out other forms for the interview. In the end I had to cancel everything since I had to renew my passport first. Yes, I understand why she was exasperated; sayang ang effort niya.
