christmas
I spent the day at my folks house on Christmas. I am in the process of sorting all my old crap I've got stored in the basement there. As I was looking around I came across some old jars of coins, pretty big ones. I spent most of the day sorting them out and checking to see if there were any silver coins in jars. I used to throw all sorts of little scraps and mementos into the jars with my pocket change. There were casino coins from when I went gambling when I turned 18, screws, super balls and all sorts of other assorted things full of memories of good times. There were also a ton of interesting rocks and fossils in the mix. I guess I was still picking up interesting rocks when I was 22. The fossils were pretty cool too. I'll have to post some pics. I ended up taking all the change except for the pennies to my bank and cashing it in. I ended up with about $300. Not a bad haul for just sitting around Christmas day.
