15 milliseconds of fame

I'm famous!

Well, sort of. One of the essays I wrote in 2004 (during the Michael Newdow challenge of the Pledge of Allegiance) is cited in a Wikipedia article about criticism about the Pledge of Allegiance.

Assuming no one has edited the page since I wrote this, I'm cited in the "Notes" as #3 as:
Jonobie Ford, The Pledge of Allegiance: A Polytheist's Perspective, Self-published

Although I no longer consider myself a theist of any sort, I still agree with my arguments written then. When I originally wrote the letter to the newspaper, it was partially with an eye towards the fact that an unusual perspective would have a better chance of getting printed. The newspaper called me to get confirmation that they could print it, but it didn't make the final cut and didn't get in. But, in the age of the Internets, the argument can live on in Wikipedia.
